“Abish famous for his literature”

in the Timashevsky rural library, a literary review dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Abish Kekilbayev on the topic “Abish famous for his literature” was conducted for all groups of readers.
Librarian: introduced readers to the life and work of Abish Kekilbayev.
His first collection of poems, “Golden Rays,” was published in 1963, then the books and short stories “A Piece of Cloud,” “Steppe Ballads,” “Face to Time,” “Cranes and Cranes,” “A Handful of Earth” were published in 1966 , “The Ballad of the Steppes”, “The Last Snow”, novels of the story “The End of the Legend”, the story “The Pleiades — the Constellation of Hope” (1981 novel). A number of the writer’s works have been translated into Russian, German, Bulgarian, Polish, Hungarian, Czech.
A. Kekilbayev translated into Kazakh the novels of G. Maupassant “Pierre and Jean”, “Life”, the story of Chingiz Aitmatov “Early Cranes”, as well as L. Tolstoy’s “Vine and Peace”, a number of works by I. Bunin. V. Shakespeare’s «Romeo and Juliet», «King Lear», «Princess Turandot» and many others.
Goal: to popularize the work of A. Kekilbayev, to acquaint library readers with the biography of the writer.
