“A Word about a Favorite Writer”

On January 10, 2024, the Marinovskaya rural children’s library held a literary minute “A Word about a Favorite Writer” (for I. Yesenberlin’s birthday).
Ilyas Yesenberlin is one of the first writers to write outstanding works about national history during the Soviet period. His works “Golden Horde”, “Nomads” cover seven centuries of our history, convey a complete picture of the steppe civilization and Kazakh statehood. Ilyas Yesenberlin remains today the largest Kazakh writer dealing with historical topics. The librarian told those present about the life and work of the writer and introduced him to his books presented at the exhibition. The purpose of the event: to increase interest in reading the works of fellow countryman I. Yesenberlin.
