The Whole World for Children

On November 24, 2025, the Poltava Rural Library held a children’s reading hour, «The Whole World for Children,» dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of renowned Kazakh writer S. Begalin, an author who made a significant contribution to the development of children’s literature in Kazakhstan.
The librarian introduced readers to his biography, creative path, and his most famous works, including «Sultan,» «Koksegennің kөrgenderі,» and «Kazakhstan’s Battle of the Children.»
S. Begalin’s works teach kindness, honesty, respect for nature and work, and his characters display courage, resourcefulness, and a thirst for knowledge.
Such events help children discover the rich world of Kazakh children’s literature and develop a respect for the writer’s creative legacy.
