Chokan Valikhanov – the Great Educator

On November 12, 2025, the Borisovskaya Rural Library held a library hour for 10- to 12-year-olds, «Chokan Valikhanov – the Great Educator,» dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh scholar, Chokan Valikhanov. The students learned about the life and work of this great historian, ethnographer, folklorist, traveler, and educator, who left behind a rich scholarly legacy. At the end of the event, the students watched a presentation and answered a quiz, reinforcing their knowledge of the life and work of Ch.
