The librarian introduced the club members to the main traditions of the Kazakh people, which include hospitality, deep respect for elders, and strong family values. Other customs include wedding ceremonies (for example, matchmaking, betashar, and rituals associated with the birth of a child, tsaukeser). There are also many rituals associated with farewells and gratitude.
