The People’s Feat is Immortal

On May 9, the Bastau rural model library hosted a history hour «The People’s Feat is Immortal», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was organized for all groups of readers.
During the event, the librarian spoke about the heroic pages of history, about the battles that became turning points in the war, about the contribution of Kazakhstanis to the Great Victory.
A book exhibition «Living Memory of Generations» was also organized, where books about the war, memoirs of veterans, and works of art were presented.
The purpose of the event is to foster patriotism and citizenship, respect for the feat of the Soviet people, preserve the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War and pass on this knowledge to the younger generation.
