On March 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., a literary event was held for students in the Timashevskaya rural library to mark the 90th anniversary of Tumanbai Moldagaliev.

He was born on March 20, 1935 and comes from the Shapyrashty family.
In 1956, he graduated from the Kazakh State University. In 1956-1986, he was a literary employee of the newspaper «Leninshil zhas» (now «Zhas Alash»), «Pioneer» (now «Ak zhelken»), was an editor and then editor-in-chief of the publishing house «Zhazushy», responsible secretary of the magazine «Baldyrgan», since 1986, the editor-in-chief of the magazine «Baldyrgan». In 1957, the first poetry book «Student dәpteri» was published. Then, collections of 40 poems, verses, songs were published.
He also worked fruitfully in the field of artistic translation: bringing into the Kazakh language, the works of classics of foreign and multinational literature of the CIS, J. Byron, Lermontov, G. Gulam, R. Gamzatov, Zulfiya and others, as well as excerpts from the Kyrgyz epic «Manas». Perhaps Muldagaliyev’s works have been translated into Russian and other languages ​​of the world.
The purpose of this event; to acquaint readers with the life and work of the poet, who left an indelible legacy in Kazakh literature.
