Books that are read today

On 19.02.2025, the Akan Kurmanov rural library, as part of the “One Country – One Book” campaign, held a literary review “Books that are read today” dedicated to Taken Alimkulov and Zhumeken Nazhimetdinov for readers of secondary school age. In order to promote the work of writers of Kazakhstan, to cultivate Kazakhstani patriotism and respect for the Motherland. During the event, those present were introduced to the history of the “One Country – One Book” campaign, the biography, creative achievements of the writer, Abai scholar Taken Alimkulov and the poet, author of the words of the current anthem of Kazakhstan Zhumeken Nazhimetdinov.
