From the flames of Afghanistan

15.02.2025. The rural library of Akan Kurmanov together with the SDK in terms of patriotic education held an evening of memories «From the flames of Afghanistan», dedicated to the Day of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. The event was attended by honored guests — Afghan soldiers of our village Baimagombetov U.A., Dymnikov N.N., widow Seregina Irina Mikhailovna. A book exhibition «Afghanistan — living memory» was arranged for the event. Objective: Education of citizenship and patriotism, a sense of duty, responsibility, courage using the examples of internationalist soldiers; instilling respect for the older generation.
