Yesenberlin and the fact that in Yesenberlin’s hometown of Atbasar, a street was named after him, and a memorial plaque was installed on the house where he lived. In 1998, the Atbasar Central District Library was named after I. Yesenberlin.
December 24, 1999, the opening of the literary museum of Ilyas Yesenberlin. In the center of Atbasar, a monument was erected for the centenary of the writer’s birth.
