«Secrets of the Victory Banner»

On October 15, 2024, the Sadovaya rural library held a lesson in courage, «Secrets of the Victory Banner», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national hero Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev.
Objective: to inform about the life path of the Hero of the Kazakh people, Hero of the Soviet Union Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev, to promote his exploits, to introduce patriotism, to cultivate courage.
The librarian introduced a short biography of R. Koshkarbayev, the students read excerpts from his book, in which he talks about his life, and once again dispelled the myth of who actually hoisted the victory banner.
Rakhimzhan Koshkarbayev, together with the Red Army soldier Grigory Bulatov, was one of the first to hoist the red banner on the Reichstag building on April 30, 1945 during the storming of Berlin.
