«Let folk traditions live and grow stronger»

15/10/2024 Borisov rural library held a local history hour «Let folk traditions live and grow stronger». Objective: to form a sustainable interest in the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, to cultivate patriotism, love for the native country, to broaden horizons.
The librarian told that the culture has been formed over centuries, and the basis of any civilization is folk traditions, rituals and customs, and introduced some Kazakh traditions. The children talked about the traditions and customs that they know. Then the participants of the event took an active part in the literary quiz «Traditions of different peoples».
Also, the library has a book exhibition «Traditions and customs of the people of Kazakhstan» for all readers.
