«Journalist, Writer, Man»

On October 7, 2024, the Sadovaya Rural Library published an information dossier «Journalist, Writer, Man» dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Sarbas Aktayev.
Objective: to introduce the life and creative work of S. Aktayev.
The information dossier introduces readers to an outstanding writer, famous journalist, qualified translator, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Sarbas Aktayev.
Sarbas Aktayev has come a long way as a journalist, heading large Kazakh publications. He made a great contribution to the development of literature and was among the people known to the great Kazakh country. Sarbas Aktayev wrote such literary publicistic works as «Dala turaly tolgau», «Bular birinshi bolyp edi», «Kapshagay hikayasy», «Altyn kalam», «Sharapatty shanyrak», «Abylay khan». He is also the author of collections of poems «Tungysh kitap», «Okzhetpes». The writer has translated 12 novels and about 20 short stories. Currently, interest in the poet’s work is growing among the younger generation. Even after his well-deserved rest, he continued to publish detailed essays on various topics. Most of his works are based on historical facts.
