«The Legacy of Saken Seifullin»

04.10.2024 In the Borisov rural library, as part of the program of anniversary dates of literary figures, a literary hour «The Legacy of Saken Seifullin» was held for the 130th anniversary of the Kazakh writer.
Saken Seifullin is the founder of modern Kazakh literature, a poet and writer, statesman, a prominent member of the Communist Party of Bolsheviks. Founder of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan. One of the first — Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Kirghiz (Kazakh) ASSR.
Purpose of the event: acquaintance with an outstanding figure of Kazakh literature, his poetry; development of cognitive interests in the field of history of Kazakhstan; moral education.
The library has also prepared a book exhibition «The Creative Path of Saken Seifullin».
