«Your Friend — the Catalog»

On September 25, 2024, an introduction «Your Friend — the Catalog» was held in the Marinov Rural Children’s Library at the Library of Culture and Science.
The librarian told and showed the catalogs that are in the library: alphabetical and systematic, and explained how to use them.

After listening to the librarian, the children were asked to find a given author’s book in the alphabetical catalog.

Objective: to familiarize with the library, its structure and reference and search apparatus, to develop primary self-service skills in the library.
