On August 20, 2024, the Pokrovskaya rural library held a talk «The composer who paints the rain…» dedicated to I. Zhakanov.
Objective: to introduce those present to the work of I. Zhakanov, to increase their interest in art.
The librarian introduced those present to the life and work of I. Zhakanov — composer, writer, publicist, musicologist.
Ilya Zhakanov made an invaluable contribution to the development of national culture.
