«The Earth is our common home»

In the Central District Children’s Library, together with the initiative group «Lutoshkin Family», a family event was held to reduce the risks of domestic injuries in children, as part of the volunteer project «Shanyrak» and a blitz quiz «The Earth is our common home». The event was attended by 15 families from city schools, employees of the Emergency Situations Department, AMB (hospital), the education department, the culture department, volunteers. The librarian prepared a quiz, a game program in which invited guests took part. Videos were shown. Each family was presented with a certificate, a board game and a water bottle as a gift, booklets on the prevention of domestic injuries were distributed. At the end of the event, a tea party was organized. The purpose of the event is to cultivate kindness, the desire to protect and care for animals. To develop logical thinking, attention, memory. To consolidate and generalize children’s knowledge about wild and domestic animals, their young, their way of life, and also to be attentive not only on the street, but also to protect themselves and their loved ones at home.
