BOOKS AS A GIFT TO OUR LIBRARY
On July 1, the district children’s Central Library was visited by the married couple Nurlan and Kulsairan Nurymov, residents of our city. The reason for the visit was one of those that most pleases librarians — Nurlan aga and Kulsairan apay brought several dozen books as gifts to the library. The general theme of book publications is history, fiction of Kazakh and foreign writers. Very soon these books will appear on the shelves of our library. A book as a gift was considered a unique way of expressing one’s respect to the person to whom it was presented.
The history of Kazakhstan’s libraries shows that they have always had strong public support. Free transfer, donation, donation are the most important source of replenishment of our funds. Books brought by people with a kind soul and concern for the fate of the library play a significant role in introducing readers to the treasures of Russian history, science and culture, forming the true values ​​of life, and also bring a certain respectability to the image of the library.
