“Dombra — the soul of the Kazakh people”

On 02/07/2024, in the Garden Rural Library, on the occasion of Dombra Day, a conversation was held — dialogue “Dombra — the soul of the Kazakh people”.
Goal: to introduce legends about dombra, broaden the horizons of readers, and cultivate interest in the music, traditions and culture of the Kazakh people.
Dombra is a symbol of musical culture from the nomads of antiquity to the present day. For centuries, it has been closely connected with the history, culture and daily life of the Kazakh people.
Readers learned about the historical and spiritual significance of dombra for the Kazakh people and the culture of Kazakhstan. The librarian introduced the names of famous, not only in Kazakhstan, but all over the world, kuishi, who glorified our Kazakhstan with the help of this unique instrument
