“Only a melodious word is eternal”

On June 21, 2024, a conversation “Only a melodious word is eternal” was held in the Novoselskaya rural library to mark the 135th anniversary of the birth of the Russian poetess A. Akhmatova. The poetry and personality of Anna Akhmatova is a unique miracle of life. She came into the world with an already established diction and a unique structure of her soul. She never resembled anyone, and none of the imitators came close to her level.
Goal: to talk about the biography and main motives of the poetess’s work, to show how the civic and poetic mission of Anna Akhmatova is fulfilled by the poem, how the history of the country is refracted and reflected in her work,
cultivate a sense of patriotism, respect for the feelings of another person, the ability to empathize, and set an example of civil courage.
