“Addiction that takes lives”

On June 21, 2024, in the Sochi Rural Library, as part of activities to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent drug addiction and AIDS, a screening-warning “Addiction that takes lives” was held. The goal is to form and develop in the younger generation a culture of a healthy lifestyle, a negative attitude towards drugs and other bad habits. During the event, the librarian informed the children about the main reasons for the use of drugs by young people, told them how to behave if acquaintances or friends are addicted to drugs and where to turn for help. The guys actively participated in the dialogue, answered questions in the “The choice is yours” quiz and expressed their negative opinions about the use of drugs, alcohol and smoking.
