“Vasil Bykov: books and destinies”
On June 19, 2024, in the Novoselskaya rural library, a historical and literary hour “Vasil Bykov: books and destinies” was held for all groups of readers, on the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous Belarusian writer V. Bykov. Vasil Bykov is one of the famous writers who, over the course of many years of creativity, was faithful to the theme of war. Vasil Bykov is a man who not only went through the entire Great Patriotic War, but also left behind an invaluable literary heritage. From the battlefields he brought heroic works about the exploits of Soviet soldiers. Goal: to popularize the writer’s work, to introduce library readers to the biography of the writer, whose youth came during the war years, to introduce them to reading fiction.
