“Her Life is a Folk Song”

On 07/06/2024, in the Sepeevskaya rural library, an acquaintance with the work of Bisara Makenova took place, on the 70th anniversary of the singer “Her Life is a Folk Song”. A bright star of Kazakh national traditional art, culture, a talented singer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The singer’s unique voice was recorded on the Golden Disc “Gasyrlar Sazy”, together with such representatives of Kazakh song creativity as: Garifolla Kurmangaliev, Kenen Azerbaev. From a young age, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan Bisara Makenova has been promoting and reviving the legacy of the great poets and composers of Kazakhstan, performing folk songs based on their works. The singer makes an invaluable contribution to the education of the younger generation.
