«I grew up here — and this region is dear to me»
On 11.10.2021, a local history lesson «I grew up here — and this region is dear to me» was held for readers of all groups in the Sochi Rural Library as part of the implementation of the program «Rukhani Zhangyru», under the special project «Tugan Zher» for the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of this event is to expand and deepen knowledge about the history of the native village. To contribute to the formation of an idea of the historical and cultural heritage of the small motherland, the upbringing of the younger generation of a sense of pride in it, respect for its achievements. During the event, the librarian introduced the participants to the history of the foundation and told about the origin of the name of the village of Sochi, watched a video and photos about the village. The thematic shelf «I grew up here — and this region is dear to me» was also decorated.
