«Journey to Childhood»

03/06/2024 The Marinovskaya rural children’s library, as part of the republican action «One Country — One Book», held a literary acquaintance «Journey to Childhood», on the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh writer, poet, classic of children’s literature Berdibek Idrisovich Sokpakbaev.
Goal: promotion of domestic literature, introducing children to the life and work of the writer B. Sokpakbaev, developing an interest in reading.
At the beginning of the literary acquaintance, the guys learned the history of the formation of the republican action “One Country — One Book” in Kazakhstan. Students learned about the life and work of the writer. He began his creative path by writing poetry for children. In 1950, the first collection of poems, “Spring,” was published. And soon he made his debut in prose: “The Sixteen-Year-Old Champion”, “The Road of Happiness”, “The Tale of Myself”, which received recognition not only from teenagers, but also from adult readers. The writer’s books are populated by kind and wise, mischievous and clever heroes, whom it is impossible not to love. The story “My Name is Kozha” brought the writer the greatest fame. Celebrating the author’s 100th anniversary, we can proudly and confidently say that this is truly an immortal work.
