“Here, sorrow and pain will remain forever”

On May 31, 2024, the Novomarinovskaya rural library held an hour of remembrance “Here, sorrow and pain will remain forever,” dedicated to the Day of Political Repression in Kazakhstan.
Goal: instilling in young people a sense of patriotism, respect for the memory of national heroes.
During the event, the librarian spoke about writers and poets who became victims of political repression, about innocent victims of political repression, about the camps “Gulag”, “Karlag”, “Steplag”, “Algeria” and about the Alashorda movement. A book exhibition “Not subject to oblivion” was organized.
