“Memory of Bitter Years”

On May 29, 2024, the Garden Rural Library held a historical hour “Memory of Bitter Years,” dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression.
Goal: to form an active civic position through studying the history of one’s country, cultivating patriotic feelings, and respect for the victims of political repression of the 20th century.
The librarian spoke about one of the most tragic pages in the history of Kazakhstan — massive political repressions and a horrific famine that led to the death of millions of people.
