«Alash — Horde»: People, Fates, Ideas»

On 27/05/2024, the rural library of Akan Kurmanov held a literary horizon «»Alash — Horde»: People, Fates, Ideas», dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Mukhamedzhan Tanyshpayev. Goal: to show historical significance as a patriot, a high citizen who has become the national pride of the Kazakh people; nurturing a sense of patriotism.
During the event, the librarian spoke about the life of Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev, who became a victim of repression because of his political activities; he joined the Alash-Orda government, headed by A. Bukeikhanov. Later Tynyshpayev recognized Soviet power. The Soviets accepted him, but he was on the list of unreliable ones.
During the times of repression, his name was blackened. And only in 1970 Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev was rehabilitated and his good name was restored.
