“Smoking is not fashionable — breathe freely”

On May 21, 2024, the Pokrovsk Rural Library held a health lesson “Smoking is not fashionable — breathe freely” (education of a healthy lifestyle) for International No Tobacco Day.
Goal: to form a negative attitude of adolescents towards smoking and reduce the risk of taking up this bad habit.
The librarian introduced the participants to the history of the emergence of tobacco and cigarettes and informed them about how many people in the world suffer and die from this harmful habit. Those present learned about the terrible consequences of smoking, that a smoker brings harm not only to himself, but also to others.
