“Unforgettable Pages of the Past”

On May 16, 2024, the rural library of Akan Kurmanov conducted a historical excursion “Unforgettable Pages of the Past” /Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repression/.
The librarian introduced readers to the historical events that took place at the beginning of the twentieth century in Kazakhstan and the fate of the people of that era.
The purpose of this event is to develop social harmony and national unity, promote our common historical heritage, preserve the memory of the victims of political repression, and learn their stories.
