«The World of Poetry»

14/05/2024 The Marinovskaya rural children’s library organized a literary acquaintance «The World of Poetry» (120 years since the birth of the Soviet and Kazakh poetess Imanbaeva Sholpan).
Purpose: to introduce the life and work of the poetess.
The librarian spoke about the poetess’s work. In her poems “The Nightingale and the Crow”, “From the Mouths of Farm Workers,” the poetess vividly and talentedly reflected events and transformations in her native land, ridiculed the greed, self-interest and stinginess of local lords and officials, and tried to convey to everyone the desire of Eastern women for freedom, equality and rights.
