“Without the memory of the past there is no future”

On 09/05/2024, the Pokrovskaya Rural Library held a festive program “Without the memory of the past there is no future”, dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War.
Goal: To form such feelings as: respect for the traditions of our country, honoring the older generation, respect for the memory of the past.
Near the obelisk, a meeting was held with the laying of wreaths for the soldiers who fell during the Second World War of 1945-1945. Then a festive concert took place. Soloists of the SDK, pensioners, and students of the Pokrovskaya Secondary School performed before the guests of the festival. The concert program included famous songs and poems of the war years. The audience, recognizing the familiar tunes, did not hold back their emotions, with tears in their eyes, quietly sang along to the beat and applauded each performance. All the artists participating in the concert were greeted by the audience with warmth and cordiality.
