“Unforgotten Great Feats”
On 06/05/2024, an evening of memories “Unforgotten Great Feats” was held at the Sochi Rural Library, dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The goal is to expand readers’ knowledge about the Great Patriotic War and to attract attention to reading literature on patriotic topics. At the event, the librarian told the event participants about the Great Patriotic War, about the heroes and their exploits on the battlefields. The children also learned about ordinary soldiers and famous marshals, about selfless home front workers and brave partisans — about those who fought with all their might for the peace and happiness of their native land. For the event, a book exhibition “Touch your soul to feat” was organized, which introduced young readers to books that tell about the exploits of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, about death, love and hope, about grief and joy, about the desire to live and self-sacrifice for the sake of others — in a word, about what this war was like and what we had to pay for it.
