“Voice of the Steppe”

On April 23, 2024, in the Sochi Rural Library, as part of events on the anniversaries of artists, an information dossier “Voice of the Steppe” was held, dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of Birzhan Sala. The goal is to introduce the life and work of the famous singer and composer of the Kazakh people Birzhan sal.
The librarian told readers about the life and work of Birzhan sal, a singer of the Great Steppe, a major cultural figure, composer and aitysker, who raised traditional Kazakh singing art and folk music to a new level.
