On April 18, 2024, the Sadovaya Rural Library held a vigil in memory of the first Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Hero of the Soviet Union, Khalyk Kakarmany, front-line soldier, Army General Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich Nurmagambetov, “The Army General is the Pride of the Nation.”
Goal: acquaintance with the biography of S.K. Nurmagambetov, to cultivate patriotic feelings.
The librarian said that Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich Nurmagambetov is the pride of the nation, a worthy son of the Kazakh people, who devoted his life to military affairs until his death. He can rightfully be called a legendary man, because the life of a professional military man encompassed an entire era: the war, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the birth of a young sovereign Kazakhstan, the formation of the Kazakh army, he will forever remain in the memory of the country.
