«Who is the hero of your novel?»

15/04/2024 The Central Regional Children’s Library held a biblio marathon «Who is the hero of your novel?» dedicated to Valentine’s Day in honor of the great love of the heroes of the Kazakh legend «Kozy-Korpesh — Bayan-Sulu». This holiday is firmly associated with the folk epic and is designed to show the purity and beauty of falling in love with spring — the most romantic time of the year.

The guys shared stories about their favorite works, which revealed the theme of sincere, pure love. Among them, particularly striking stories were “Scarlet Sails”, “Pride and Prejudice”, Kazakh poems and lyrical epics “Yer Targyn”, “Kyz-Zhibek” and many others.

The goals of the event are to revive national values, promote chastity, images of Kazakhstani women and national heroes, and attract readers to the topic of sincere feelings in literature.
