April 12 is Cosmonautics Day
April 12 is Cosmonautics Day, a world holiday established in honor of the first manned flight into space. And for more than half a century, space research has been conducted.
Many mysteries lurk in this endless space, and each of us has wondered more than once: what surrounds our tiny planet
in outer space? This topic is attractive for children as well as for adults, because space is beauty and mystery, new knowledge and space for imagination.
On the eve of the holiday, the Central District Children’s Library organized an exhibition of children’s drawings «Man in Outer Space», the goals of which were to expand children’s ideas about space, develop children’s creativity and imagination.
Space attracts children with its mystery and uncertainty, so regular readers took part in the preparation of drawings on a space theme with great desire and interest. The children reflected in their works their fantasies on the theme of space travel, imagining themselves as astronauts going into outer space. In their works you can see a variety of space objects and rockets, distant planets, flickering constellations and comets.
The exhibition turned out to be truly cosmic! All the works turned out to be magnificent and unique in their own way!
