“Son of the Great Steppe”

On March 26, 2024, in the Sochi Rural Library, as part of events on patriotic education and local history, an educational hour “Son of the Great Steppe” was held, dedicated to the 380th anniversary of the birth of Aiteke bi. The goal is to recall his enormous role in the history of the Kazakh people, to talk about the wisdom and moral rules of the legendary biy, to educate patriotic youth using the example of our great ancestors. The librarian spoke about the role of Aiteke bi in the history of the Kazakh people. Aiteke bi, being one of the influential biys during the reign of Tauke Khan, was one of the creators of the “Zhety Zhargy”, contributed to the unification of the Kazakh people, and headed the Junior Zhuz for many years. During the event, readers were introduced to the biography and interesting facts from life.
