“Drugs — a one-way journey”

On 03/12/2024, the Timashevskaya rural library held an advisory conversation with young people “Young Readers” on the topic “Drugs — a one-way journey”, and a book exhibition was also organized.
Librarian; told our readers about how to prevent the tragedy of some from becoming the misfortune of many.
It is impossible not to call drug addiction and substance abuse a tragedy; it is dangerous not only for the person who uses narcotic or other intoxicating drugs, but also for his loved ones and relatives. The reader has probably already been able to see this. Is it possible to prevent such tragedies? What is being done and should be done , so that they do not have a place in our lives. Educational work is also carried out in educational institutions according to a program that provides for the formation of a healthy lifestyle and overcoming bad habits such as smoking and drug addiction. The sad experience of many countries has shown that only comprehensive and timely measures can prevent the further spread of this modern “social infection” and save many thousands of people from premature death and serious crimes.
Goal: To tell and convey to children and adults about drug addiction, the peculiarities of its occurrence and the consequences to which it leads, that you should not even think about it. And fight against drug addiction as a society.
