“Auganstan Umytylmas Estelik”

14/02/24 Central District Library named after. I. Yesenberlina, together with the “MRC” of the Atbasar region, organized a memorial evening “Auganstan Umytylmas Estelik” for the military personnel of military unit 5510 and students of the AIK for the 35th anniversary of the Day of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
The purpose of the event: to expand the knowledge of young people about the war in Afghanistan; introduce you to the heroes of the Afghan war; to cultivate respect for the feat of internationalist soldiers.
The event took place in the co-working center of the library.
Guests of honor were invited:
1. Internationalist warriors.
2. Deputy military commissar of the Joint Department for Defense Affairs of the Atbasar and Zhaksyn regions — Kokashev Arai Kayratovich.
3. Chief specialist of the SU “Department of Internal Policy, Culture, Development of Languages and Sports of the Atbasar District” — Mikhel Yulia Andreevna
4. Head of the Municipal State Institution “MRC” of the Atbasar region — Kamilla Enbekovna Ryspekova.5. Director of KSU «CBS» of the Atbasar region — Kozhakhmetov Zhaksylyk Kabidenovich.
The hosts of the event told the history of the Afghan War, a minute of silence was held in memory of the fallen soldiers in that war, touching poems about Afghanistan were read by AIK students, and patriotic songs were sung by talented children from the Center for Intellectual Development “IQ”.
Afghan warriors shared their memories of the past war and answered questions. The floor was given to Kokashev A.K., Ryspekova K.E. and Kozhakhmetov Zh.K.
Videos “We are internationalists”, “Afghanistan — to the fallen and living Heroes of the Afghan War” were shown.
The book exhibition “Auganstan” was organized. A memorable photo was taken.
