“Formation of the Ulus of Jochi”

On 09/02/2024, the Sochi Rural Library prepared an information dossier “Formation of the Ulus of Jochi”, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the formation of the Ulus of Jochi. The goal is to instill in readers a sense of patriotism, respect for their native country, native land, and its history. From the dossier you can learn that the success of the Golden Horde in the political arena is inextricably linked with the personality of its ruler, Jochi Khan, who laid a solid foundation for the formation of Kazakh statehood. Jochi is a special figure in the political arena of the early 13th century. He was a talented commander, distinguished by his independence of judgment, and had his own vision regarding the development of conquered peoples and territories.
