“The Pride of the Steppe Birzhan – Sal”

On January 30, 2024, the Pokrovsk Rural Library held a musical lounge “The Pride of the Steppe Birzhan – Sal”, dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of Birzhan Sal Kozhagulov, for the anniversaries of artists.
Goal: to cultivate a sense of patriotism in the younger generation through familiarization with the work and biography of Birzhan Kozhagululy, the great Kazakh akyn and composer.
Before the start of the event, the audience was shown a documentary film about the great akyn-improviser of the Kazakh people, Birzhan sal.
Next, the librarian introduced the children to the stories of song creation, the life and work of Birzhan-sal.
